We're adding functionality so that you can now publish your mixes to Facebook. In the near future we'll be able to put all frontpage mixes on our djmix.ca facebook page, and some other cool tricks to get your mixes noticed.

Right now, you can "Post to Facebook" when uploading a mix. Just select the box and follow the dialogue to connect your account up, and you can get posting right away :)

Radio Station is online for Remotes!

DJ's and Broadcasters who wish to use our djmix.ca remote (Shoutcast) server, please contact rod@locl.ca to get hooked up with a timeslot on our (coming soon) schedule.

We'll have our calendar online soon and hopefully be able to streamline the process.

Browse by Genre is now available

I've added the "Browse by Genre" links to the site again, so that you can view all the mixes tagged in each specific genre. I'll be adding a tag cloud for subgenre listings, since they're more of a freeform input. If you have a genre that is not listed, and you wish to upload mixes, please email them to admin@locl.ca

New Theme, and Better Search

Today we've added a better search capability to the web site, and we decided to revamp the theme once again. We streamlined a few modules, and tweaked just about every setting possible to get the best experience out of the system that we can.

Always getting better, and changing

We recognize that need, finally after all these years to expand and grow the site. After multiple requests on our facebook page, we've decided to put some time into redesigning and reprogramming a few key areas of the site. First of all, we're going to get another facelift. We're also going to lighten the pages up a bit and make the search function faster and more relevant.

After that, we're going to start working on the upload interface, and see if we can get some more power into that, faster uploads and possibly an FTP dropbox for artists to send us mixes in a more direct manner.
