Radio is Back!

A while back we had to remove the radio station due to bandwidth cost and server load. Well, we've recently made some changes to our service which is now allowing us to revive the very popular radio stream.

Not only are we streaming our site's mixes, we also have regular LIVE programming scheduled! (more to follow) We will let you know on Facebook when we're broadcasting live. For now, we're simply doing some tests. If you want to tune in, please point your favorite media player to our streams:

We're getting cozy with content providers

In the past, our mix upload system was pretty basic: you simply send us an mp3, wav, ogg file and we host it for you. Since the inception of djmix in 2009, we've seen a lot of other content hosting providers come and go. Instead of competing with these other sources, we're going to embrace them! If you have a mix or track on Soundcloud, or a video on Youtube, (more coming soon) you can now embed that content into your submission, instead or in addition to the audio file.

It's another upgrade!

It seems like we're always doing something to djmix! This upgrade consisted of a 100% overhaul of the database, transition to a more beefy system and a total wipe on the users and content databases. It was necessary due to the massive amount of garbage and spam we got with the last content manager. No more spam! We're starting fresh with all new features, better connectivity, and a bigger site to get more mixes to more listeners.
