DJ LoGo started his DJing career back in 2008 as a trance and electro house DJ. Before too long, he became bored of the mixing style required for this type of music and started moving on to drum and bass music as a way to improve his beatmatching and style. Always one to rise to a challenge, he fell in love with the improvisation-filled, high energy mixing style required to spin DNB and never switched back. Before long he had added a third and fourth turntable to his set up as two were no longer enough to mix as fast as he needed. In January 2011 he became a resident DJ on www.DB9RADiO.com and began playing weekly drum and bass sets, something he continues doing today. A few months later, he was asked by three of the cities most established drum and bass DJ's to join a Calgary area all-DNB crew they were starting called 403DNB. Since then he has been a resident DJ with the crew, doing regular friday night sets at Quincy's on 7th, as well as promoting and opening for drum and bass headlining shows such as Shimon, Matrix & Futurebound, Bachelors of Science, and DJ Friction. He also began to focus more heavily on production, specifically hip-hop/dnb mashups, which now feature heavily in his own sets and mixtapes. He also manages the twitter feed for 403DNB (twitter.com/403DNB) , keeping the YYC area up to date with events, mixtapes, and news from the DNB world.
